Our Story

Three Branches

Three Branches is not only about three different businesses under one roof (cafe, bakery, and pub), but also happens to highlight the Three Branches of the Nulhegan River. The main stem of the river rises at the outlet of Nulhegan Pond in the eastern part of the town of Brighton and flows east into the town. Near the eastern border of town, the North Branch of the Nulhegan enters from the north. The main stem continues east into the northern corner of the town of Brunswick, then turns southeast upon entering the town of Bloomfield for its final descent to the Connecticut River. The East Branch of the Nulhegan enters from the north 2 miles (3 km) northwest of Bloomfield village.

Who We Are

Pierre Gervais & Erin Miceika

Pierre Gervais is a retired Colonel and Veteran who grew up in Island Pond and has finally returned home to reconnect with his love of Vermont. He is an active member of the Legion and VFW and volunteers for the community. Erin Miceika’s business career has allowed her to travel the world, exploring different coffee shops along the way. Her dream was to open a café of her own one day. When visiting Island Pond over the holidays, Pierre and Erin knew this was the perfect place to make that dream a reality.
